BYU Hawaii

My last free day in Hawaii before school starts! I think I'm pretty much settled in now. My roommate Molly is a sophomore and is busy hanging out with her friends but she is nice and luckily she is a morning person with a class an hour before mine and she said she would make sure I'm up for my classes thank goodness! The weather is beautiful! Yesterday I went with Toby and a bunch of his friends to Waimea Bay but on the bus ride there we missed the stop and had to wait till the next stop to finally get off the bus. Then one of Toby's friends thought that he found a trail down to the beach which ended up being pretty much a very steep trail of rocks and red dirt which I managed to slide my way down with only one girlish squeal. Then we came to this pretty high rock wall that we had to pretty much boulder our way down and then jump the rest of the way down only for me to land flat on my butt.
Then all the guy decided to jump off the huge rock that was there. First I was kinda scared to jump off the lower rock...the "girly jump" but this girl who was about nine just kinda cut in front of me and just jumped right off not scared in the slightest! So then I jumped and got a huge mouthful full of water! Then the guys said I had to go off the higher jump, after watching a few of the other guys go I jumped and slapped my feet on the water. It was so high! But the water felt wonderful! Then some of us swam out to a rock that was near the shore to just sun bathe and a turtle swam right next to us! It was so cool I wish I had my camera! It was a fun day with only minor sunburns.
